We are on a mission to create responsible solutions

At the Responsible Innovation Lab we bring together a new interdisciplinary community of researchers and practitioners passionate about creating ‘responsible’ solutions as they innovate in response to emerging challenges and explore new opportunities.

Our research is structured in a series of projects and research themes. These projects are the root structure of the Lab’s community, reaching out to brilliant students, researchers and practitioners and connecting them and their ideas to the challenges of making responsible innovation. The themes of research include: responsible planning, responsible bio-innovation, responsible expertise, responsible tech design, responsible AI and indigenous-led innovation.

We are based at National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (CPAS), Australian National University. This website is a platform to highlight our research and share insight for responsible thinking and innovation practice.
