Professional Practice 1 (COMP6250 / ENGN6250)

This is a graduate course offered by the ANU School of Engineering. It is the first in a series of two courses for engineering and computing Master students that focus on developing professional and communication skills for the 21st century workplace. Participants will learn the basics of being a ‘responsible professional’ in their future career.

This is the second in a series of two courses for engineering and computing graduate students that focus on developing professional and communication skills for the 21st century workplace.
The course builds upon individual capacity, and further develops students’ professional skills, values, and attributes in ways that directly complement their technical expertise. This course provides space for participants to practice the skills related to being ‘responsible professional’ on a semester-long project.

This is a graduate course offered by the Centre for the Public Awareness of Science and
the Crawford School of Public Policy.
This course provides a comprehensive approach to exploring the interactions between science, technology and public policy across a suite of policy areas. Pathways Theatre for Responsible Innovation

Inspired by the Forum Theatre, Pathways Theater is a form of  interactive theatre that is developed by Dr Ehsan Nabavi, which empowers the audience to actively explore different pathways for dealing with socio-technical challenges and motivates them to think about the notion of ‘responsibility’ in new ways. 

workshop uses improvisation techniques developed in the Pathways Theatre to help individuals and organizations become more responsible in their thinking and practice.
